DISCIPLESHIP

Discipleship Matters Because U Matter

At West Metro we’re committed to Discipleship. Since a Disciple has been defined as: "one who accepts and assists in spreading the doctrines of another," we’re focused on nurturing and cultivating the character and teachings of Jesus Christ in the lives of Believers.

Embracing Jesus’ fourfold command to disciple people of all nations in Matthew 28:19-20 and Mark 16:15, we will:

  • Prepare believers to commit to the purpose of God for their life to go to all nations;
  • Proclaim the Gospel by teaching and preaching for every creature;
  • Promote personal transformation by encouraging water baptism representing a changed nature following the new birth.
  • Perpetuate our Faith by teaching them to observe all His commands.

To accomplish this, we offer:

  1. Adult Ministries – Study Tracks
    • Family – We offer teaching specifically tailored to strengthen the family;
    • Financial – We offer teaching that is informative, instructive and beneficial for a sound financial strategy in these challenging times;
    • Topical – We offer teaching on current and relevant issues which will help to equip the Believer to function and fulfill his/her public and personal responsibilities;
    • Personal Enrichment – We offer teaching to encourage and enhance our spiritual growth with a design for those new to the Faith as well as the mature Believer;
    • Bible – We offer teaching that preserves the integrity of the Word of God as we seek to rightly divide the Word of truth; and
